Standard Return Policy
We have a 28-day return policy, meaning you have 28 days from receiving your item to request a return.
Extended Christmas 2025 Return Policy
For Christmas 2025, any purchases made in December 2025 are eligible for return until 15th January 2026.
Return Eligibility
To qualify for a return:
- Items must be in the same condition as received: unworn, unused, with tags, and in their original packaging.
- You’ll need to provide the receipt or proof of purchase.
- Please take care to avoid hair or skin oil transfer. Items with oil stains cannot be refunded. To prevent this, we recommend wrapping your hair while trying on hats.
To initiate a return, contact us at info@black-sunrise.co.uk with your order number and delivery address.
If your return is accepted, we’ll provide instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back without prior approval will not be accepted.
Return Shipping
- Return postage costs are the responsibility of the buyer.
- We recommend using a signed-for delivery service, as refunds will only be processed once the returned items are received and inspected.
- Items must be returned within 14 days of the return request, or they will be automatically sent back to you.

Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately at returns@black-sunrise.co.uk if:
- The item is defective or damaged.
- You receive the wrong item.
We will evaluate the issue and work to resolve it promptly. For defective, damaged, or incorrect items, we will:
- Exchange the item or provide a refund.
- Refund the return shipping costs once the issue is verified.
Note: Items must have labels attached and be in their original condition to ensure no previous wear.
Please ensure such returns are made in the original packaging.
Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned:
- Custom products (e.g., personalised or special orders).
- Personal care items (e.g., beauty products).
- Hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases.
- Final sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges
To exchange an item:
- Contact us at info@black-sunrise.co.uk with your order number and delivery address.
- Return the item you have, following the instructions provided.
- UK orders may be eligible for free postage on their replacement. For international orders, once your return is accepted, you will need to place a separate order for the new item.
- We’d appreciate it if you could share why you’re returning the item. This won’t affect your return, but as a small business, we’d love to know how we can improve to better support our community.
Refunds
Once we’ve received and inspected your return, we’ll notify you whether the refund was approved.
- Approved refunds will be issued to your original payment method.
- Please note: It may take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund. However, you will receive email confirmation from us as soon as it has been processed.
